That Yard 'Rocks'
Flat Style Stone
Round Style Stone
The weather is getting warmer as spring approaches, and it is the time of year that people like to go outside and make their yards a beautiful and comfortable place to spend quality time with their friends and family. It is the time of year when many plant flowers, fruits, and vegetables and freshen up the outdoor spaces that will be enjoyed all year long.

I personally have always enjoyed this time of year, and like many others, have given thought to the best way to make an outdoor space more aesthetically pleasing without hindering the fragile ecosystem. What better way is there to enhance natures beauty than using an all natural product to accomplish this goal? Instead of running out to the local hardware facility to buy man made materials for flower bed or garden retainers, why not use what nature has produced naturally and choose a beautiful stone border instead.

Flowerbed borders can be made from almost any type of stone and should be chosen depending on the look you are trying to achieve. Flat stones are easily stacked and can be placed naturally together, or mortar can be used between the stones to create a stronger, and more permanent border or wall. If you would prefer to use single stones lined side by side, an oddly shaped or chunky stone could be used since stacking will not be an issue. Natural stones are available in various sizes and shapes and all have beautiful natural colors and patterns to suit your needs creating the desired effect.

Upon the quest for a source to purchase quality and affordable stone for a project such as this, I found San Jacinto Stone. A wonderful place, centrally located in the Houston Heights, where the people are friendly, knowledgeable, and offered personalized customer service. The 4 acre facility offers a vast array of choices and is certain to have the perfect stone for your project.
